This is actually something a lot of people struggle with on the Internet. In fact it could be one of the main reasons many newbies get frustrated and quite even trying to succeed. What I'm talking about is when people go to shallow in a niche and too broad.
I think this stems from the fact that most of the gurus make things seem so easy and that gives building an Internet business a false look. It will take work... especially in the beginning. That said a lot of the work you'll do is becoming an expert in the market your chose.
When you go deep in a niche and really become the expert, it makes creating content much much easier. It makes you come across as an expert and a trust worthy source of information about the niche. And all of that can translate into sales.
Becoming the expert will also help you really build outside of your niche topic.
It's cool because when researching your niche, you will discover other related niches that are part of your original niche. That is great for you because that will help to increase the depth of your website and bring in more traffic over the long haul.
And this can create a number of new niches websites for you... some of which can be integrated and connected.
I bet you're wondering how you go deep right?
It's a fair question. Here are three quick measures to use...
1. Purchase all your competitions products
Go buy the products your competition has created. This not only will help you to create content, but it also serves as a way for you to figure out ideas to make things better.
3. Find other experts in the field and interview them
You are not going to believe how easy it is to get other experts to talk to you. They want to and when they do you get great content. Not only that, but you can record these interviews and use them as additional content that makes you look really good.
3. Search out keywords like your life depends on it
Work your butt off when it comes to researching those keywords. It's amazing what you can learn about a niche by see what people are typing in. Not to mention it can help you structure your content as well. This is truly a must.
So remember that becoming the expert and going deep is really important. Devour everything you can get your hands on and soon enough you will be the master and making some real money.
